Background and Discussion:
The project in East Harris County, consists of approximately 5,725 Linear lengths of roadway. AKV Consultants LLC was awarded a contract to provide roadway reconstruction and related improvements along Market Street from Lakeside Drive to Magnolia Street. The goal is to study the existing conditions of Market Street and provide best reconstruction options. Based on that agreement, AKV Consultants LLC submitted the final study report on February 13, 2025.

The County could elect to approve or choose to reject the study recommendations. However, if not approved, the design plans cannot be completed as recommended in the study.
