Background and Discussion:

This project involves the construction of sidewalks along North Eldridge Parkway from Spencer Road (FM 529) to West Road, and along West Road from North Eldridge Parkway to 940 feet East (Precinct 3).

 

This change order involves adding a missing item to the contract, increasing the current contract value by $14,235.00 to ensure the project is completed as originally intended.

 

Item to be added:

PCO #1     Borrow Material, Cost: $14,235.00, Additional Days:  14

365 CY x $39/CY = $14,235.00

 

 

Expected Impact:

Improving the pedestrian facilities will ensure reliable and safe route of transportation to residents of the Harris County.

 

Alternative Options:

The alternative will be not to construct the proposed sidewalk where borrow material is needed.
