Request for approval to execute a utility agreement with CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp. for the installation of a gas line and meter to extend gas utility services to the new Central Tolling Structures on the West Sam Houston Parkway construction project in the amount of $5,368.75 (Precinct 3).

Background and Discussion:
This utility service will provide gas service to the new Central Tolling Structures that are to be constructed as part of the Barrier Free Program located at 5635 1/2 W Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston, TX 77041.
After completion of the construction services, if the estimated cost is less than the estimated amount,
CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp. will refund or credit the difference. If actual cost of the construction
services is more than the estimated cost, CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp will invoice the difference which
would require a future Court action.
Expected Impact:
The action will allow CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp. to expedite the underground gas line extension,
minimizing the risk of construction delays for the Construction Project.
