Background and Discussion:
The Project consists of the construction of a right turn lane from southbound of Telge Road onto US 290 and adding storage on existing left turn lane from southbound of Telge Road onto US 290 in Cypress, Harris County.
This change in contracts includes:
Ø Cost of hydro mulch for covering disturbed area. ($3,209.67)
Ø Cost of adding pay item for road signage. ($5,373.93)
Ø Cost of removal of raised pavement makers. ($230.00).
Ø The final adjustment (reconciliation of actual quantities used in construction against the bid quantities). ($-41,183.57).
Expected Impact:
Change allows unused funds to be returned to Harris County and allows the Contractor to be compensated.
