Background and Discussion:
Harris County Commissioners Court will consider the creation of TIRZ 4 on December 11, 2025, to promote the
development or redevelopment of the area generally located in the southeast portion of Harris County within
Precinct One. Per the resolution creating TIRZ 4, the TIRZ Board of Directors shall consist of five (5) members
to be nominated and appointed by the Commissioner of Precinct 1, subject to County Commissioners’ Court
approval.
Expected Impact:
The nominee will succeed the former Position 3 appointee, Erica Lee Carter, and will complete the remainder of the unexpired term.
