Background and Discussion:
This agreement will provide on-call professional services in support of infrastructure maintenance work that will be executed as a result of the passage of Proposition A in November 2024. Services included in the scope of work include support for major repair projects for the Federal Channel Maintenance Program, and emergency repair assessment as well as additional engineering support, construction phase support and resident project representative (RPR) support as well.
Expected Impact:
This agreement will allow the Flood Control District to stay in compliance with the agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the inspection, design, and construction of repairs to the Federal Channels.
Alternative Options:
The alternative to approving this item would be not in compliance with the agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the repair program to improve the Federal Channel’s condition.
