Background and Discussion:

 

Traffic signal upgrade at the intersection of Eldridge Parkway at Alief Clodine Road.  This change includes $10k for pavement markings, $20k for pedestrian poles and $13k for conduit/signal loops/liquidated damages.  It also includes an extension of the contract time of 28 calendar days to install these additional items.

 

Expected Impact:

 

Changes allow the completion of the project in accordance with the original intent of the project.  This Change Order will be funded by the Harris County Engineering Department and will have no financial impact to Precinct 3.

 

Alternative Options:

 

Leave the signal incomplete/non-functioning or return the signal to the original, pre-project condition.
