Background and Discussion:
Public Health will be entering into an agreement with the Hispanic Health Coalition to cosponsor the 7th Biennial Latino Health Summit. Public Health Services will contribute $125,000 towards the event budget to aid in offsetting the cost for attendees. They will provide event and logistical support throughout the planning and event dates.
Expected Impact:
The mission of the Latino Health Summit is to address health inequities through education, advocacy, research, and access to healthcare. This year's event will be a hybrid convening of like-minded individuals focused on supporting the needs of the Hispanic community in making steps towards positive outcomes for the social determinants of health.
