Background and Discussion:
The Harris County Sheriffs Complex at 5910 Navigation includes a two-story community center, three- story investigations building, two- story property and evidence/ CSI building with vehicle parking garage.
On April 5, 2022, Commissioner’s Court approved the request to utilize a CMAR (Construction Manager-at-Risk) delivery method for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Complex project, and the Purchasing Agent was authorized to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and administer the selection of the CMAR. Durotech, Inc. was selected based on highest overall evaluation and approved for CMAR.
This scope includes the demolition and removal of all existing buildings, structures, site paving, and
miscellaneous site improvements at the 5910 Navigation facility location.
Expected Impact:
Commissioners Court approval would allow Durotech, Inc. to begin the demolition of the existing buildings for the construction of the new Harris County Sheriffs Complex.

Commissioners Court could postpone or delay the approval to begin demolition.
