Background and Discussion:
Upgrade furniture for Tuberculous clinic located at 5815 Antoine Dr. Houston, TX 77091. Requesting to utilize J. Tyler as vendor to order, deliver, and install selected furniture. J. Tyler provided lowest quote to complete scope of work.
Expected Impact:
Community impact will include an upgraded lobby and reception area, three exam rooms, laboratory, workstations, and conference room to improve TB elimination clinical efforts and administrative operations. The fiscal impact for this project will come from the 1000-General Fund for the furniture upgrade and improvements needed to modernize TB clinic and administrative area.
Alternative Options:
J. Tyler provided the most cost-efficient pricing at $79, 959.79. Two additional quotes from county approved vendors with OFS Omnia Contracts were obtained. Agile Interiors quoted is $91,177.60 and Facility Interiors Inc. $90,675.26. Debner declined to provide a quote due to scope of work and limited staff available to execute installation.
