Background and Discussion:

Omega Engineers, Inc. provides engineering design for HCTRA Heavy Maintenance project, which contains engineering solutions to maintenance repairs. The original Agreement was awarded by Commissioners Court on July 30, 2019 for a total not to exceed amount of $150,000, and a first Amendment was approved by Commissioners Court on October 13, 2020 to add $50,000 for additional work added to the scope for a total not to exceed amount of $200,000.

A Second Amendment was approved by Commissioners Court on June 29, 2021 and added $25,000 to the Agreement in order to cover additional review comments received on some of the projects included in the scope.  However, the total not to exceed amount was stated incorrectly in the June 29, 2021 Court action as well as the Agreement.  The Third Amendment updated the total not to exceed amount to the correct not to exceed amount of $225,000.

Expected Impact:

This Fourth Amendment will provide the necessary compensation for the additional scope of the project for the design efforts.
