Background and Discussion:
On April 25, 2023, the County entered into an Agreement with Harris County Municipal Utility
District No. 532 for maintenance and repair of the Non-Standard Elements including brick pavers, wheelchair ramps with truncated domes, brick paved median noses, 6’ wide ramps, 8’ wide ramps, and related appurtenances, Harris County Project No. 2205180163, within the existing right-of-way of various roadways in the Elyson master-planned community located in Harris County, Precinct 4.
Expected Impact:
This proposal will provide safety and positive impact for the Elyson community and will be cohesive to the Elyson design aesthetic.
Alternative Options:
Commissioners’ Court can opt not to move forward with the non-standard maintenance agreement; however, this will delay the community development and impact project schedules.
