Background and Discussion:
This amended agreement will allow HCMUD 153 to continue to construct and maintain various recreation amenities on District right-of-way, including hike and bike trails.
Expected Impact:
By entering into the amended hike and bike agreement with HCMUD 153, it will allow the HCMUD 153 to construct additional sidewalks and features for the enjoyment of the community. It also reduces maintenance responsibilities for the District as HCMUD 153 will be responsible for the vegetation management in the agreement area.
Alternative Options:
If this interlocal agreement is not executed, the HCMUD 153 will not be able to construct the proposed trail.
