Background and Discussion:

The SAVNS grant program is funded by the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) and provides automated crime victim information and notification services.  OAG recently issued a new statewide contract to the vendor, SylogistGov, Inc., to provide crime victim notification services.

Expected Impact:

This item will enable Harris County to continue receiving crime victim notification services.

Alternative Options:

Not accepting this grant amendment would possibly result in the elimination of these services.
