Background and Discussion:
The project proposes extension of Birnam Wood Boulevard from north of Hickorygate Drive to south of Indigo Forest Boulevard, standard four (4) lane concrete boulevard in 100-ft right of way with 32-ft raised medians. Addition of the remaining two (2) southbound lanes of a standard four (4) lane concrete boulevard of Birnam Wood Boulevard from Indigo Forest Boulevard to south of J109-01-01. This project connects to Birnam Wood Blvd Segment 2 - from south of J109-01-01 to Cypresswood Dr - 2019 which consists of upgrading Birnam Wood Dr from south of J109-01-01 to Cypresswood Dr from 2-lane concrete 1/2 Blvd. section to 4-lane concrete curb and gutter Blvd. with 32' raised median within a 100' ROW.
Expected Impact:
The approval of this ILA will allow Office of the County Engineer to have a partnership with MUD 82 for sidewalk on Birnam Wood Boulevard projects.

The alternative option in not to go forward with the proposed extension of Birnam Wood Boulevard.
