Request for approval to hire a Director, OMB Special Projects on a contract basis from Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for one year to assist OMB with implementing and monitoring projects that are part of the 5-year county plan with BCG.

Background and Discussion:
On the June 4 Commissioners Court, court member unanimously approved the Harris County 5-Yr Financial Plan. During the presentation it was discussed that assistance would me needed to implement and track/report on the implementation of the recommendations.
Expected Impact:
The hiring on a contract basis of a Director, OMB Special Projects will allow OMB to implement and report on the recommendations on a timely manner, beginning July 15.
