Background and Discussion:
Managed Service Provider (MSP) to provide Security Operations Center (SOC), Security Information and Event
Management (SIEM), and Network Operations Center (NOC) services for Harris County Universal Services
(HCUS). The MSP solution shall enhance the ability to detect, prevent, and remediate advanced threats and
attacks that target hosts on the Harris County systems and network.
Expected Impact:
The MSP shall assist in a full range of services related to the management plan, implementation, maintenance,
communication, and improvement of the County’s network and security services as part of HCUS’ strategic
initiative to build strong proactive measures to quickly detect and respond to cybersecurity threats and
incidents.
