Background and Discussion:
This Agreement will allow design, bidding, and construction phase services for I100-00-00-E001 Vince Bayou Channel Improvements. The PER has been completed and this request is to complete the design of the recommended detention basin and channel improvement configuration.
Expected Impact:
Once the design work is completed, it will allow the Flood Control District to move forward with construction and reduce water surface elevations within the Vince Bayou Watershed.
Alternative Options:
The alternative to approving this item would be to select another firm for this assignment, which would result in delays in completing this project and existing conditions would not be improved.
