Background and Discussion:
On November 9, 2021, Commissioners Court accepted the grant award from the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division for $69,000 for new and upgraded equipment for the Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit (CSU).
Expected Impact:
This grant amendment for the FY2022 Crime Scene Unit extends the grant end date from September 30, 2022 to November 30, 2022. This no cost extension will allow additional time to spend funds and receive the equipment.
