Background and Discussion:
Harris County Commissioners Court created the TIRZ on December 10, 2024, to promote the development or redevelopment of the area generally located in Northeast Harris County. Per the approved resolution, the TIRZ Board of Directors consists of five (5) members nominated and appointed by the Commissioner of Precinct 1, subject to the County Commissioners’ Court's approval.
