Background and Discussion:
This project is a park improvement project located on the north side of Houston in Precinct 1. The proposed project will make improvements to Lincoln Park. These improvements include a new wood deck, new walking trail, landscape items and improvements to park entry area.
This change order includes payment for relocating a tree and irrigation. Days for working around tree roots in order to protect large mature tree. Days for stopping work to accommodate a city of Houston event and adding sod. Additional days needed for down time while waiting for engineer of record to review and redesign proposed deck. Payment for requested revision to park signs place by contractor and payment to repair storm damage to new signs.
Expected Impact:
Changes will allow for the project to be constructed per the original intent.
