Background and Discussion:
This amendment will provide H&H support for the Local Review of Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) and Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) submittals in Harris County. Expected Impact:
This amendment will allow the Flood Control District to continue to ensure that LOMRs and CLOMRs done in Harris County are compliant with local modeling and mapping standards.
Alternative Options:
The alternative to approving this item would be to handle all Local Review activities in-house, which would result in delays in review turn-around time or would necessitate hiring and training of additional staff.
