Background and Discussion:
On October 16, 2025, the Commissioners Court directed the County Administrator, beginning April 2026, to present quarterly updates to Commissioners Court on Strategic Plan implementation progress and outcomes, with recommendations (when applicable) for departments (and cross-departmental teams) that merit public recognition for demonstrating excellence in advancing Strategic Initiatives and other strategic priorities.
The Office of County Administration (OCA) worked with the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC), made up of representatives from each Commissioners Court office, to create the attached first SPIA quarterly update.
Expected Impact:
Providing quarterly updates on Strategic Plan implementation progress ensures Commissioners Court has current information on progress and any areas of concern while also enhancing accountability regarding all relevant County departments’ execution of the Strategic Plan.
