Background and Discussion:
Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), Mounted Patrol is requesting to accept a donation of sixteen (16) raincoats and cantle from the HCSO Mounted Patrol Foundation. The donation will assist HCSO Deputies who participate in Mounted Patrol, significantly enhancing the comfort and safety of our Deputies during their patrols. The raincoats purchased for designed for durability and longer wear, proving better protection for Deputies during rain. Additionally, when the raincoats are not being worn the cantle bags will be utilized to store the raincoats while riding. The total value of the raincoats and cantle bags is $6,162.00.
