Background and Discussion:
On June 26, 2025, Harris County Commissioners Court approved the PY2025 Annual Action Plan for HOME funds, which included Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs). These organizations develop affordable housing for low-income individuals.
Expected Impact:
The total cost of the agreement is $737,323.00, with $692,133.60 funded with PY2024 HOME funds and $45,189.40 funded with PY2025 HOME funds. $100,000.00 is budgeted for FY26 while the remaining $637,323 will be budgeted for future FYs.
