Background and Discussion:
Scheduled for September 16, 2026, the upcoming Outdoor Learning Environment Early Childhood Education (ECE) Network Pathfinders meeting will take place at the Houston Arboretum. This will be a gathering of early childhood educators from Houston and across Texas who will come together to learn best practices, share challenges, and participate in hands-on activities that will aid them in getting their campuses and students outdoors. The meeting will highlight the importance of outdoor exposure to ensure children grow up healthy, both mentally and physically. The event will include a field trip to Blossom Heights Early Childhood Center, located in Houston that has incorporated a wonderful outdoor space into their curriculum.
