Background and Discussion:
Mueschke Road Segment 8 is currently under construction and Harris County was approached by a developer to add a turn lane and road tie ins for a future roadway that is being constructed by a private party. The developer agreed to pay Harris County for the additional work for design and construction. We have an executed agreement between the developer and Harris County. This amendment is to pay Woolpert, Inc. for their work.
Expected Impact:
This amendment allows Harris County to pay the Engineer for their work associated with the changes to the plans for Mueschke 8.
Alternative Options:
The county and the developer have entered into an agreement and the developer has funded the work. There aren’t any alternative options that don’t break our agreement.
