title
Request for approval of an OMNIA Partners, Public Sector Cooperative Purchasing Program renewal option with SHI Government Solutions, Inc. for Centrify server suite software services for the Toll Road Authority for the period of December 11, 2026 - December 10, 2027, at a cost of $300,557, Justification for 0% MWBE Participation Goal: Exempt- Interlocal/Cooperative Agreement.
end
Background and Discussion:
Centrify is used by the Toll Road Authority to support controlling access to servers and providing granular role based access to UNIX systems. It also provides multifactor authentication for server administration as well as auditing capabilities. It also provides the capability of managing privileged account passwords and having an approval workflow that allows users to check out passwords to the privileged accounts for a period of time and automatically rotating the passwords after the allotted time.
Expected Impact:
Continued security of HCTRA’s servers through role based access controls to UNIX systems and multifactor authentication for both UNIX and select Windows systems.
Alternative Options:
Local users which creates additional administrative burden.
Palo Alto CyberArk - Would require an entirely new implementation and does not appear to have the same capabilities of role based access for UNIX systems.
