Background and Discussion: 118-32-01 is in northwest Harris County in Precinct 2. This channel provides stormwater detention and drainage for the West Mount Houston subdivision and conveys it to another tributary, P118-32-00, which outfalls to P118-00-00 (Halls Bayou).  An inspection performed in 2019, and subsequently in 2022, revealed debris in the channel and silt in the reinforced concrete boxes. This project is intended to repair these items and restore the channel in form and capacity to the original design condition. This service will provide support for infrastructure maintenance work that will be executed as a result of the passage of the “Maintenance Matters” Proposition in November 2024.

Expected Impact: Work includes erosion repairs and sediment removal. Major emphasis of this repair contract will be earthwork, including but not limited to erosion repair, riprap installation, sediment removal, pipe installation, and related items.

Alternative Options: None
