Request that the County Judge execute a Memorandum of Agreement with Santa Maria Hostel, Inc., to coordinate and provide reentry services to female offenders through the Path to Recovery Program.

Background and Discussion:
Santa Maria Hostel is one of Texas’ largest multi-site residential and outpatient substance use disorder treatment centers for women, and one of a very few to offer a full continuum of services for women who are pregnant or parenting. HCSO has been collaborating with Santa Maria Hostel for re-entry services for several years.
Expected Impact:
This request will provide comprehensive reentry support through pre and post release services. The goal is to provide recovery oriented services to increase stable community tenure, decrease recidivism, etc.
