Background and Discussion:

Katy Pony Baseball is requesting approval to host its seasonal Sportsfest fundraiser at Four Seasons Park on September 19, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The organization has provided recreational baseball in the community for over 30 years, and Sportsfest serves as a family-friendly event open to all area residents, with 100% of proceeds reinvested into park upgrades and renovations.

Expected Impact:

Sportsfest is expected to engage local families through children’s activities, games, auctions, and approximately 30 community vendors, strengthening recreational use of the park and supporting youth sports participation.  All vendor fees and ticket revenue directly support improvements at Four Seasons Park, reinforcing the event’s role in enhancing County recreational facilities.
