Background and Discussion:
The project involves the construction of a sidewalk and ADA-compliant ramps along the east side of the Right-of-Way (ROW), extending from Woodforest Boulevard to Wallisville Road. The total length of the sidewalk will be approximately 9,700 linear feet (LF) with a width varying between 4 to 6 feet.
PCO#1: The project experienced delays totaling 50 days due to three key factors: pending EXXON LONO approval for construction within the easement despite timely documentation submission, a necessary redesign of the sidewalk near Dollar General to address site constraints and ensure safety compliance, and delayed adjustment of AT&T's communication box due to contractor prioritization of other tasks. - Add 50 days.
PCO#2: During the project walkthrough, 21 sanitary manholes requiring adjustment were identified due to conflicts with sidewalk construction. Although initially the owner's responsibility, it was agreed that the contractor would perform the adjustments at a cost of $1,093.70 per manhole, resulting in an additional $22,967.70 to the contract without impacting the project timeline. Add $22,967.70 with 0.0 days.
Final Reconciliation: The final contract adjustment includes a reduction of $124,692.58 due to actual quantities used, offset by the $22,967.70 for sanitary manhole adjustments, resulting in a net reduction of $101,724.88.
