Background and Discussion:
These engineering service agreements ensure that the collection, review, and combination of the roadway, structural, and facility inspection data is combined into a report that meets the requirements as required by the Trust Indentures that secure HCTRA’s revenue bonds.
Following Commissioners Court authorization of this action, HCTRA will negotiate agreements with AtkinsRealis USA Inc. for the existing buildings, pumps, generators, and associated facility appurtenances, with Cobb, Fendley & Associates, Inc. for the existing elevated roadway segments, elevated roadway elements, and associated structural appurtenances, BGE, Inc. for the existing drainage elements, roadway infrastructure, and associated appurtenances, and with Entech Civil Engineers, Inc. for the existing drainage, roadway infrastructure, roadway elements, and associated roadway appurtenances.
Expected Impact:
This work brings value to both our routine maintenance contracts as well as builds the foundation of information for our state of good repair construction contracts, both of which aim to achieve a high level of service for all Harris County residents.
