Background and Discussion:

The Holzwarth Road project is in NW Harris County, classified as a major thoroughfare with high volumes of traffic. A significant number of accidents have been reported for portions of this corridor. The interlocal is a joint agreement to utilize the existing WCID 110 basin for detention needs.

Expected Impact:

The intent of this agreement is to utilize the WCID 110 existing detention basin and expand it to meet the needs of the Holzwarth Road project. The precinct will maintain the pump station and the detention basin.

Alternative Options:

The alternative is to not utilize Harris County Water Control and Improvement District No. 110’s basin and identify another basin location.
