Background and Discussion:
The project involves constructing four monuments on Precinct 2 road medians-two in Channelview (510 Sheldon Road and 14807 Woodforest Boulevard) and two in North Shore (514 Normandy Street and 16 Uvalde Road).
This change in contract includes:
PCO#1: Upon review of the plans and bid items, it was identified that the lighting intended for the planter surrounding the monument, which was included in the initial draft, was omitted from the final plans, and bid items. The Engineer of Record (EOR) has requested that these items be incorporated into the project, as the lighting was intended to enhance visibility during nighttime hours. - $17,400.00 - 8 Days
PCO#2: With reference to the owner's request to relocate the solar system from the top of the monument, it was agreed to install a separate pole for the solar system at all four locations. This will require the installation of new poles and re-routing the wiring from the poles to the monuments. - $51,456.00 - 30 days

This action allows for accommodating the owner request and enhance visibility of monuments.
