Background and Discussion:
Public Health Services is seeking approval to update one temporary/part-time position (Ultra Low Volume Spray Truck Driver) to regular full-time position. The ULV Driver position plays a crucial role in enhancing our operational efficiency, allowing us to better serve the residents of Harris County by preventing and controlling mosquito-borne diseases. Having this position on a full-time capacity will enhance our ability for the safe and effective application of products to manage mosquito populations based on surveillance data.
Expected Impact:
Moving the position from PT to FT will cause an increase of $29,132 for FY25 and an annualized impact of $33,632. The increase in personnel expenses will be covered by existing general funds.
