Background and Discussion:
On August 1, 2017 Commissioners Court approved an Agreement with S & B Infrastructure, Ltd. in the amount of $7,710,000 to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection Services in support of the construction of the East Sam Houston Tollway from Interstate 10 (East) to SH 225, the Ship Channel Bridge Program, including the construction of twin bridges over the Houston Ship Channel.
On June 27, 2023, the County approved the assignment of rights, duties and privileges of the Agreement to RRP Consulting Engineers, LLC.
The First Amendment does not add additional funds, but will allow additional services, as identified in the updated scope of services, to move forward with the construction of the Ship Channel Bridge Program.
