Request for approval of the first amendment to an agreement with the City of La Porte to revise the scope of work and reallocate $415,500 from the Architectural/Engineering Design to the construction line with the total project amount remaining at $3,472,757 in CDBG-DR funds for the Northside Neighborhood Drainage Improvements project.

Background and Discussion:
Subrecipient shall increase drainage system conveyance and capacity by upsizing storm sewer systems with concrete pipes, installing concrete boxes, junction boxes and all associated waterline improvements including installing water lines and fire hydrants replacements and complete associated appurtenances.
Expected Impact:
The improved drainages will relieve flooding in the target area North by West Polk Street, South by West Polk Street, East by North Seventh Street and West by North Eleventh Street. This project is in in Precinct Two. This project will benefit 1,200 persons of which 66.25% are low to moderate-income.
