Background and Discussion:

On October 29, 2024 Commissioners Court approved the execution of the Tolling Service Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation.  Toll Road Authority personnel are committed to ensuring a successful transition of the TxTag customer service and billing to HCTRA.

This request is to allow exempt employees to cash out their compensatory time earned from the beginning of the implementation, November 2, 2024, through the pay period ending December 27, 2024.  Additionally, this will allow for payment of overtime hours worked by non-exempt employees, such as HCTRA Customer Service Representatives, from November 30, 2024 through the pay period ending December 27, 2024.

Expected Impact:

Employees not exceeding maximum compensatory time balances.

Alternative Options:

Employees to continue to accumulate compensatory time, which may cause some excessive balances and some employees exceeding the maximum.
