Background and Discussion:

As a part of the Flood Control District’s maintenance operations, the Flood Control District undertakes a variety of projects to perform preventative maintenance as well as corrective actions. This agreement is needed to provide professional services related to design and construction work associated with the Federal Maintenance Program, as required by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Expected Impact:

This amendment will allow the Flood Control District to continue using Huitt-Zollars, Inc. to provide on-call engineering and architectural services. Revising the scope to include the federal channel maintenance program provides flexibility and increases the Flood Control District’s capacity to maintain federal channels.
