Background and Discussion:
The County initially engaged BGE, Inc. in 2014 for the study and design of the project, and now seeks their continued support during construction, including revising plans, redesigning the lift station pumps, reconfiguring the Ezekiel Rd. and Grand Ashford intersections along Hufsmith-Kohrville Rd., modifying the transition at the north end of the project, and conducting a geotechnical investigation at the south pond to address underground seepage; this contract amendment compensates the consultant for these additional design and drawing changes.

This action will allow the engineer of record to continue supporting the project through construction

If no action is taken, the engineer of record will not be accessible for support through the construction of the project.
