Background and Discussion:
Several check valves throughout the County have been identified as not being recognized by, and accepted into, the mechanical/electrical program. These check valves require inspection with respect to their current operating condition, and evaluation for any deficiencies that require correction, as they are accepted into the mechanical/electrical program for future maintenance.
Expected Impact:
Reports of check valves and other equipment that have been inspected and evaluated that provide appropriate information on condition and recommendations. Appropriate action may follow depending upon the recommendations.
Alternative Options:
No action will result in infrastructure not being recognized by the District and the infrastructure will not receive routine maintenance necessary for upkeep.
