Request for approval for the May Center Volunteers In Action to hold their 31st Annual Fall Festival & Harvest Market fundraiser on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at, and in support of, the Vera May Community Center.

Background and Discussion:

The event will include Children’s games/activities, food trucks, community garage sale, silent auction, bake sale, indoor and outdoor vendors, pet adoptions, reduced-cost pet vaccinations and microchipping and antique and collectible appraisal fair.  Vendor space rental will be $45 for indoor space, $35 for outdoor space, $10 for garage space and no charge for nonprofit organizations.  $5 suggested donation for wristband access for designated Kid Zone activities.

 

Expected Impact:

All proceeds raised through these activities will be used to support the Vera May Community Center, I.T. May Park and other approved activities and initiatives that directly benefit the Huffman community.
