title

Request by Public Health Services for approval to extend one associated position for the ARPA Food and Nutrition program through December 31, 2026.

end

Background and Discussion:

The ARPA Food and Nutrition Coordinator position was created to oversee vendors contracted under the ARPA Food and Nutrition program. The role ensures vendors meet deliverables, comply with program requirements, and provide services to high-need communities. The Coordinator also manages reporting, budgeting, and communication with partners. Extending the position through December 31, 2026 will allow for continued oversight and support during the vendor close-out process after contracts end.

Expected Impact:

The extension will provide continuity in program oversight, ensuring vendors remain compliant and services are delivered effectively. It will also allow the Coordinator to manage reporting and contract close-out activities in 2026, helping the County complete the program smoothly and maintain accountability.
