Request for approval of the second amendment to an agreement with the City of Galena Park to revise the scope of services and modify the project budget by adding $314,777.15 in Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds to adequately cover the construction cost, for an overall project budget total of $7,692,449.15, for The Sanitary Sewer Improvements project.

Background and Discussion:
The additional funding is being reallocated from unused funds from Beaumont Place, Kingslake, City South Houston, and High Meadow Sewer projects.
To address the inflow and infiltration issues within Galena Park by rehabilitating lift stations to include wet will structures, mechanical pumps, pipes, and valves and electrical motor controls centers and completing all associated site work as replacing sanitary sewer lines. Construction shall take place at various locations in the City of Galena Park in Precinct Two.
Expected Impact:
Funds moved from 4 other projects to this one - there is no net fiscal impact. The improved drainage systems and rehabilitation of lift stations and street repairs throughout the City of Galena Park. This project will benefit 10,800 people of which 54.94% are low to moderate-income with drainage improvements.
