Background and Discussion:
This project consists of the construction of approximately 11,400 linear feet of 6-foot-wide sidewalks along north and south Woodforest Boulevard. The project limits are from Redstone Street to Freeport Street.
Additional curb installations were necessary at multiple driveways along the project corridor. This measure was required to replace damaged curbs where the existing curbing had detached or "popped off," creating safety hazards. This change order will add $1,809.00 to the contract with no additional calendar days.
Expected Impact:
Increase the cost of the contract.
