Background and Discussion:

This free event is expected to convene over 200 Latina entrepreneurs for a day of empowerment, education, and networking. The programming will include keynote speakers, expert panels, and resources designed to strengthen Latina-led businesses and enhance their contributions to the local economy. This sponsorship directly aligns with DEEO’s mission to advance economic opportunity and remove barriers for small businesses.

Expected Impact:

This event provides an excellent opportunity for community engagement. This involvement will facilitate connections with local businesses and support their economic growth.

Alternative Options:

Commissioners Court can choose not to approve this sponsorship; failure to approve the sponsorship will impact DEEO’s ability to engage with this community of business and community leaders.
