Background and Discussion:

The Richard P. Doss concept plan focuses on access, safety, and providing a variety of different programs. This concept plan seeks to increase the comfort and accessibility throughout the park through added trails, trail paving improvements, and increased connections to key site amenities. These improvements would make the park a more universally accessible resource for everyone in the community to enjoy. The application also includes an executed resolution also included for approval.

Expected Impact:

The Doss Park concept plan is designed to significantly enhance the community’s experience by improving access, safety, and opportunities for engagement. By expanding and upgrading trail connections and improving paving throughout the park, the plan will create safer, more comfortable routes for all visitors. Strengthened links to key amenities will make the park easier to navigate and more welcoming for people of all ages and abilities.
