Background and Discussion:

The Patiowoods subdivision consists of new rigid pavement with rollover curb and appropriate drainage features.  The scope of this project includes drainage analysis, preparation of street alignment and typical sections, preparation of construction estimate, preparation of utility conflict list, provide exhibits/renderings for public engagement, environmental, survey, and geotechnical tasks.

Expected Impact:

In implementing the proposed drainage improvements, the Subdivision Reconstruction - Patiowoods seeks to reduce structural flood risk and strengthen resiliency in Harris County by assisting in the alleviation of structural flood damage to the homes in the adjacent community. This will reduce the financial, physical, and emotional burden flood damage places on homeowners and will reduce the financial impact costs to the homeowners, Harris County, and FEMA.
