Background and Discussion:
The project consists of constructing storm sewer drainage improvements to convey runoff from the Barwood West Subdivision to HCFCD Unit E133-00-00. The proposed work includes open-cut installation of new storm sewer facilities, associated street paving, demolition and removal of existing storm sewer segments, traffic control, construction storm water pollution prevention measures, replacement of pavement removed for drainage improvements, pavement markings, and required water and sanitary relocations.
Expected Impact:
This project seeks to reduce flood risk and strengthen resiliency in Harris County by assisting in the alleviation of structural flood damage to homes in the community. No impact on project schedule or cost anticipated.
Alternative Options:
The County could elect to approve the requested task or choose to reject it. However, if not approved, the project will not proceed with construction.
